My favourite book and film.

If i had to think about my favourite book, isn't hard to choose one. My favourite book is the pillars of the earth, writed by Ken Follet.

I remember when I read this book, it was in the autumn of 2016, I had lots of free time, because my lyceum was on strike, so, with no school i needed something to spend time, and there's where the book enter.
The first reason why I decided to read this book it's because I heard a joke about how long the book is, like 1200 pages, so I took it like a personal challenge. But when the reading began, began the fun.
About the book, it has more than one protagonist, narrating parallel stories that intersect in some points of the plot. And there's a reason why I like this book, there's a lot of characters, but every character have his own characterisation, they aren't flat, you "see" them, and have patterns that seems very human, you can empathise with them, and do the try to feel what they feel.

But, although the characters are the most important thing on every story, they aren't all, the story per se, the plot,  has an important roll, it makes the character what they are, and the story behind characters it's so catchy, you want to know what happens after, and how they will reach the end, because the synopsis says something like "the story began with the hanging of an innocent, and ends with the humiliation of a king", and, at least in me case, it provoked a need reach the end of the book and know how those things are related.
Another thing that I find relevant to tell it's how the book tell the story, how with his descriptions let you imagine all the places, the faces with emotions, but not limiting you with  excessively detailed descriptions.
If I had to recommend this book, the reason should be the characters, characters that you can feel real when they pass through your eyes in the paragraphs, characters with fears, problems, objectives, and strength to reach his objectives, characters that makes you feel caught until you see they are "safe".
Now, in a completely different theme, but related with the title of my post, my favourite film.
I don't like so much the films, I didn't watch yet a film who makes me feel like a book makes me feel, but if there's a film that i like more than others it's "the boy and the beast", a netflix film that I saw like one year before, on this in these dates.

I like this film because the premise sounds attractive, "a boy who lose his mother follow an stranger to another dimension filled with anthropomorphic animals, and the stranger it's a bear who teach the boy how use the sword",that sounds very attractive, and that's why I saw it.
Now, the story it's okay, isn't a masterpiece, but it's very good, the characters have good chemistry, the plot advances good, not too fast to think "wait, what's happening, why he's doing that", or too slow, reaching the boring , it advances with the exact speed.
I recommend this film because it's funny, can be entertaining and works if you want to spend your time, and the characters aren't complex or deep, but you can empathise with them, and make the experience better with his interactions.

The best holiday I've had

If I have to think in the best holiday that I've had, certainly were this summer, in Putaendo, a place near San Felipe, located  in the fifth region of Valparaiso.Resultado de imagen para Putaendo, Chile
I have a few words about the places where I went, because they aren't relevant. I were in San Felipe like a half hour, another half hour on the trip from San Felipe to Puteando, and forty five minutes on the trip from Putaendo to my uncle's house, and after that I didn't leave my uncle´s house, his terrain specifically, so i can talk only about my uncle's house.
It's a small terrain with fruit trees, some fruits that grow there are pomegranates, peaches, walnuts and almonds,  if my memory works. Also, my uncle own's some bees, and practice the apiculture, interesting in my opinion. About the house, there's no much to say, it's small, but it's everything that you need to live, with a workshop in the back.
My stay was short, only four days, but in those days I learned a lot. My uncle work making marionettes and selling it, so he teach me about how make marionettes and the correct form to use the machines that he use on his work.
The reason why I think this the best holiday that I've had it's because I discovered a love for make marionettes. It's very wonderful imagine something and, through the patience
and wood, bring it to reality, for example this panda that  I made:

Or this Chameleon, that took me 10 hours without the painting or the threads collocation:

I love make marionettes and expect return to Putaendo to keep doing this, becuase it's a very filling and relaxing activity.

A country I would like to visit

If there's some place that i want to go over others it's Armenia, for some reasons that I will try to explain in the next paragraph.
There's a band called System of a Down, and the wrote a song called "holy mountains", that is about the Armenian genocide, and for this song I did an investigation from my old school, because I found interesting this theme, and now,  I have a desire to know more about it, but no the things that you can read in a book or an article from internet, I want to visit the monuments, the museums, and learn about his culture, traditions and history in a deep way.Mapa de Armenia
I don't remember a lot of things about Armenian culture, i remember that they were between 4 country's, and for this reasons they were invaded for territory, by, if my memory works, Persians and Turks. Also, were the Turks that are responsible about the Armenian genocide, by the systematic killing of Armenian people and the exile of them. Curiously, most of the Armenian died in the dessert, starved to death or dehydrated.
The Armenian Genocide memorial complex (Tsitsernakaberd).JPGIf I ever go to Armenia, would visit the tsitsernakaberd (literally Swallow's Fortress), a monument who was build to commemorate the victims of the genocide. A thing that i find interesting of this monument it's the eternal flame that it has, in a depth of 1.5 meters, in dedication to the 1.5 millions of victims.
Another things that I would like to do here could be taste the typical food, i don't know about the food, but I heard good critics about the vegetables and fruits harvested in Armenia, so I expect tasty food of high quality. Also i heard that the nature of Armenia it's beautiful, so take a guided visit can be in my plans too.

To finish, i don't have enough information to decide if live in Armenia it's a good idea, may study there could be a possibility, but i'm fine studying in Chile, so i think my trip to Armenia will be only to visit the country.
