If i had to think about my favourite book, isn't hard to choose one. My favourite book is the pillars of the earth, writed by Ken Follet.

I remember when I read this book, it was in the autumn of 2016, I had lots of free time, because my lyceum was on strike, so, with no school i needed something to spend time, and there's where the book enter.
The first reason why I decided to read this book it's because I heard a joke about how long the book is, like 1200 pages, so I took it like a personal challenge. But when the reading began, began the fun.
About the book, it has more than one protagonist, narrating parallel stories that intersect in some points of the plot. And there's a reason why I like this book, there's a lot of characters, but every character have his own characterisation, they aren't flat, you "see" them, and have patterns that seems very human, you can empathise with them, and do the try to feel what they feel.

But, although the characters are the most important thing on every story, they aren't all, the story per se, the plot, has an important roll, it makes the character what they are, and the story behind characters it's so catchy, you want to know what happens after, and how they will reach the end, because the synopsis says something like "the story began with the hanging of an innocent, and ends with the humiliation of a king", and, at least in me case, it provoked a need reach the end of the book and know how those things are related.
Another thing that I find relevant to tell it's how the book tell the story, how with his descriptions let you imagine all the places, the faces with emotions, but not limiting you with excessively detailed descriptions.
If I had to recommend this book, the reason should be the characters, characters that you can feel real when they pass through your eyes in the paragraphs, characters with fears, problems, objectives, and strength to reach his objectives, characters that makes you feel caught until you see they are "safe".
Now, in a completely different theme, but related with the title of my post, my favourite film.
I don't like so much the films, I didn't watch yet a film who makes me feel like a book makes me feel, but if there's a film that i like more than others it's "the boy and the beast", a netflix film that I saw like one year before, on this in these dates.

I like this film because the premise sounds attractive, "a boy who lose his mother follow an stranger to another dimension filled with anthropomorphic animals, and the stranger it's a bear who teach the boy how use the sword",that sounds very attractive, and that's why I saw it.
Now, the story it's okay, isn't a masterpiece, but it's very good, the characters have good chemistry, the plot advances good, not too fast to think "wait, what's happening, why he's doing that", or too slow, reaching the boring , it advances with the exact speed.
I recommend this film because it's funny, can be entertaining and works if you want to spend your time, and the characters aren't complex or deep, but you can empathise with them, and make the experience better with his interactions.
An amazing film, I love the animation and the plot, good post!
