Thinking about my experience learning English, can be resumed in this idea: "School taught me some rules that I don't remember, and interacting with native speakers trough games was more useful!".
In my case it's the truth, talk in English with people was more useful instead learn some rules, for example I don't know how many times some teacher taught the present perfect, from school to high school.
Now, talking about my experience learning english at university, it's different than school, because I'm in english 4, and it's supposed that I know all the basics rules for english, so I don't learn English, not like school, I practice English here, obviously you can learn something new that you didn't know, but my english at the university has been more practice that learning according to me.
For example, we have to write blogs, and it's a fantastic idea, because most of the times the blog theme it's interesting, making the redaction fun, and making it a non-tedious activity (it's hard to learn and have fun in my case), so, blogs are very good, It's a good idea to use blogs for the english learning.
Now, I know there's a long way for me if we talk about english, you can always improve, but now, my weakness in my opinion are pronunciation and hearing. They are basics for conversations, so my plan it's practice my pronunciation alone or with friends that I know they have good pronunciation, and the hearing, my plan it's watch series in english without subtitles, and try to understand it, also understand what some songs say without reading the letter.
I want to improve in english, because I use it a significant amount of time, when I play a game and have to talk with my teammates, when I hear a song and don't want to search the letter, when I read some news in the internet and it's writed in english, when I sing a song in english, I use it every day practically.
i need to improve my pronunciation too! good luck with that
